The Phil&Teds isn't available here in Israel so all of our research was online. I felt it was important to help other shoppers out too!

Anyway, we were expecting number 2 and number 1 isn't even 2 years old so we need a solution. My sister in the UK was in the same situation 3 month's earlier and had the luxury of actually trying out the various options. She had gone for the Sports model. We liked the fact that on the Dash there was a strengthened plastic footholder and the handle drop down to act as a brake. We were told by friends that the footbrake on the Sports was a bit of a pain to operate.

So this is my short-term review. We have had the stroller for about a week and these are my observations.

We bought this stroller a little more than a year ago. Since then, it has been part of our little child transport fleet, with a Maclaren umbrella stroller, a Bugaboo Frog, and a Deuter Kid Comfort I, all of which we had owned for more than a year prior to our purchase of the Dash.

Our first reaction was that the build quality was just not up to the Bugaboo standards, most notably the handle was somewhat loose, and the seats seemed to not be that well thought out, especially when used in the basinnet/toddler combo. However, it worked well enough, so we kept it, and were reasonably happy with it.

After only 9 months of use (and remember, we have other strollers we use too), we found that the sewing quality on the seats, both the upper and lower, was so bad that they have just burst and begun to rip apart (we are not carrying lead weights in the thing, just an average sized infant and a toddler). I have been using this stroller for 2 months now. I loved everything about it, it's a gorgeous stroller (especially in red), folds amazingly small, seems really comfortable for my baby and the basket holds a lot of stuff. My only issue with it was that I had a hard time steering this stroller. By going to Phil&Ted's website I noticed this seemed to be a common complain with the Dash. I emailed their costumer service and immediately received a response telling me that a new wheel was on their way! Just a few days later it has arrived and with a simple switch my Dash has a new wheel. It has make all the difference! It is really easy to steer now. I am so impressed with Phil&Ted's customer service. I will not hesitate to buy any of their products in the future and will recommend it to anyone.
